There’s still one more game left in the Eagles season but after losing 38-24 to the Redskins on Saturday, the nail is already in the coffin. So now the questions over the uncertain futures begin to rise and one of the most prominent names in the Eagles team who may not be with the team next year is Sam Bradford.

However, Chip Kelly told 94WIP that both he and the Eagles feel very comfortable with Bradford at the helm and seemed very intent on keeping him. Chip was quoted as saying

“There’s never negotiations with anybody during the season. We certainly want Sam back and we’ll try to do everything we can to get him here”

The critics have been ruthless on Bradford this season..and whilst arguably unfair, Bradford has sucked it up got onto the field and showed real signs of improvement in recent weeks.

In his last 6 starts he’s gone 145/220 (66%) for 1,639 yards (7.45 y/a) scoring 8 touchdowns and throwing just 3 interceptions for a 94.5 rating.

Jordan Matthews spoke with CSN yesterday about how he believes in Bradford and called him “our guy” whilst Sam himself claimed he has enjoyed his time in Philly and hopes to be return.

His future is still clouded as of right now..but he has proved a lot of people wrong this season, especially when the majority of his struggles early on were due to drops and just shoddy receiver play.
