The NFL have just released offseason workout dates for all 32 teams. The official press release states that the voluntary nine-week program held by teams will be held in three phases, per Article 21 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Those phases are as follows:

Phase One consists of the first two weeks of the program with activities limited to strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation only.

Phase Two consists of the next three weeks of the program. On-field workouts may include individual player instruction and drills as well as team practice conducted on a “separates” basis. No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted.

Phase Three consists of the next four weeks of the program. Teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, or “OTAs”. No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted.

The Eagles workout dates are as follows:

First Day:                                April 17th

OTA Offseason Workouts: May 23rd-25th
May 30th-31st,
June 1st, June 5th-6th,
June 8th-9th

Mandatory Minicamp:        June 13th-15th

Although these dates are subject to change, it’s usually a pretty strong indication of what to expect. We will have complete coverage of OTA’s and all activities leading to what is a pivotal Training Camp for the Eagles. So stay locked in, year two of the Carson Wentz era officially starts on April 17th.
