The Philadelphia Eagles have received some concerning news ahead of tomorrow’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, franchise QB Jalen Hurts is questionable after falling sick this weekend.

Jalen Hurts missed Friday’s practice with an illness and that has apparently worsened over the weekend, leading to the change in status.

Schefter notes that Hurts is still traveling to Seattle with hopes of playing, but is making the trip on his own to avoid getting anyone else sick.

This is obviously worrying. The Eagles have just lost two big games in a row and could now have to fly into Seattle without their franchise QB to face a team they’ve not beaten since 2008.

Marcus Mariota would start in place of Jalen Hurts if the Eagles’ QB is unable to play, and without knowing exactly what the illness is, it’s hard to say how taxing playing a full game would be.

Hopefully, it’s nothing too serious and Hurts can make a quick recovery from whatever illness he’s battling right now.
