Philadelphia are road favorites here, but the story is one fans know all too well. The last time they beat the Seahawks was in 2008 and while a lot of that was down to the rise of Russell Wilson, nobody has forgotten THAT game in 2019. Can Jalen Hurts and company finally buck the trend?
To do so, they’ll need to play to much better than they have over the last two weeks. Sure, the Cowboys and 49ers are among the NFC’s elite, but Philly is supposed to be in that conversation too and have instead been knocked down a few pegs in a pair of embarrassing losses.
Geno Smith could be in-line to make his return to the Seattle offense and although he isn’t exactly elite, he’s capable enough to pick a sloppy pass defense apart.
The Seattle backfield should also be replenished with both Kenneth Walker AND Zach Charbonnet looking to build on a disappointing rushing effort against San Fran last week. The Eagles have an equally-stout run defense, so it will be interesting to see how they fare.
The Seahawks might be 6-7 on the season, but their defense is loaded with veteran talent and the offense has playmakers such as Noah Fant and DK Metcalf who will punish a complacent defense. Philadelphia cannot take them lightly.
The Philadelphia pass defense has been lackluster all season long. The corners are now struggling, and Darius Slay will miss the game after undergoing knee surgery.

The total for this game is fairly high (47) but understandably so. The Eagles are conceding an alarming rate of both points and passing yards while suffocating the run and scrambling to save victories with sporadic offensive performances. It’s hard to stomach backing a 47-point total, but it’s also easy to see this game hitting 70+ with relative ease given the caliber of offenses and how bad the Eagles’ pass defense has been.
