The Philadelphia Eagles have very little time to reflect on Sunday’s close call against the Patriots. They’re back in action this evening in a Thursday Night Football bout against the Minnesota Vikings. If you’re looking to bet on the game, you’ve come to the right place.
I’ve found the 5 most exciting prop bets ahead of tonight’s game that could provide great returns on their own, or explosive ones in a same-game parlay. How you bet them is up to you, but these are the 5 props you should include in your betslips on Thursday night.
Jordan Addison to score anytime +215
The Eagles come into this game with a limp when it comes to the secondary. CB James Bradberry is out and so is starting safety Reed Blankenship. That means we could get a tandem of Sydney Brown and Josh Jobe against a wideout who breezed past the Bucs for a long touchdown on Sunday.
Addison is no Justin Jefferson, but he has to be respected. With the Eagles lacking core pieces on defense and obviously using as much ammo as possible to bracket the league’s best wideout, the potential for a sneaky Jordan Addison touchdown is extremely high and I don’t think it’s been priced in.
TJ Hockenson OVER 54.5 yards +120
The mentality here is the same as the Addison prop, only with added conviction. Hockenson had 8 receptions in week 1 and somehow only put up 34 yards. With no Nakobe Dean to maraud the middle of the defense and a lack of reliable help at Safety, the tight end should feast if he sees a similar amount of attention this evening.
Jalen Hurts OVER 44.5 rushing yards -110
We didn’t see much of Jalen Hurts as a rusher on Sunday, but the Vikings defensive line is beastly and the Eagles struggled to keep a clean pocket for their QB in the opener. If the same trend continues, Hurts will have no choice but to put on the afterburners and make plays happen himself due to being flushed out of the pocket.
Also, with no Kenny Gainwell, there could be an added emphasis on running the ball and offset his absence to keep defenses guessing.
Alex Mattison UNDER 54.5 rushing yards -110
The Vikings might just have the worst offensive line in football. Addison only rushed for 34 yards last week and now faces a defensive line including the likes of Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. Yikes.
Forget the lack of MIKE linebacker security, the Eagles are primed to suffocate the run and force Cousins to continue launching the ball down the field, just like the Bucs did on Sunday in their 20-17 win.
Dallas Goedert OVER 59.5 receiving yards +160
One of the big talking points from Sunday’s game was Dallas Goedert’s lack of production. The veteran tight end felt like an afterthought in a struggling offense and posted a flat-line against the Pats.

We’ve been here before. DeVonta Smith suffered a similar fate last season before exploding one week later to prove that it’s just a one-time thing. Goedert also put up 82 yards against the Vikes last season and 48 in the game before that. You can tease this number however high you want, with his main line being 49.5, but I like him beating the 60-yard mark here in a bounce-back game against the Vikes.
