It’s been a rollercoaster offseason for the Philadelphia 76ers. The James Harden saga is still commanding headlines while the NBA Draft provided an opportunity for the team to stack up on some developmental undrafted talents. Daryl Morey has made some solid signings, but according to Vegas, the Sixers are not yet poised to be a dominant threat in the East.

Betting on the Sixers

There are plenty of ways to bet on the success of the Sixers in 2023-24. Joel Embiid won the 2023 MVP Award if you fancy betting on a repeat, you will be able do so at most sportsbooks shortly. On top of that, you can bet on who will win the 2023-24 NBA Championship along with each conference and of course individual games when we get closer to the new league year.

If you’re new to betting, or are about to open up your favorite app, we have a surprise for you. What a lot of people don’t know is that every sportsbook offers new customers BONUS bets for signing up. So a $10 bet with your current sportsbook could actually end up netting you $200+ of free bets if you use it with a new sportsbook instead!

You can sign up to as many or as few offers as you see fit. But if you want to maximize your returns, instead of betting $50 with one book, spread it out among the five below and end up getting over 10x that amount of cash to bet with, absolutely risk-free!

NBA Odds: Sixers odds drop after disappointing postseason

Denver Nuggets+475
Boston Celtics+500
Phoenix Suns+650
Milwaukee Bucks +850
Miami Heat +900
Los Angeles Lakers+1200
Golden State Warriors+1300
Philadelphia 76ers+1500

Sixers to win the 2023-24 NBA Championship: +1500

The Sixers entered the offseason at +1300 before the hiring of Nick Nurse. They’ve now slightly drifted to +1500 following another wild NBA offseason, meaning the Sixers own the eighth-best odds in the NBA to win it all next season. The Denver Nuggets (+475) won the 2023 title and will be looking for repeat success next year, although it’s hard to imagine that the Boston Celtics (+500), and the Milwaukee Bucks (+850) will be far behind.

While being the 8th best team in terms of betting odds at this stage is certainly a disappointment to fans, it does not guarantee their fate. It may actually mean that there’s an opportunity for those who truly believe this team can improve, to get in at a much higher price and yield some potentially huge rewards.

The Sixers have plenty of questions to answer but provided that Morey can continue to be surgical with his decisions, there’s no reason this team can’t bounce back in 2023 under Nick Nurse.

A $100 wager on the Sixers to win it all next season would net a return of $1,600 plus your wager, but the odds may not be that steep as we approach the regular season.

Let’s use the Eagles as an example. They were +4000 to win the Super Bowl following the NFL Draft in 2022. After an undefeated opening four games. As we all know, they were only a few drives away from turning a lotto-ticket bet into a winner, and the cashout prior to the game would’ve been huge.

How about Joel Embiid? The Cameroonian was tied with Luka Doncic at +500 before the beginning of the season when it came to MVP Odds. Jokic had been the man at the top of the totem pole for most of the season prior to a late surge from Embiid that finally tilted the scales in his favor.

The good news is that you can take advantage of a sign-up offer, like the one for BetRivers below, and bag yourself a risk-free bet on the Sixers to win it all. Worst case, you lose nothing. Best case, your returns are more than double what you would’ve gotten if you’d wagered without the offer.
