RBC Heritage: PGA Tour betting preview & Predictions
Jon Rahm stunned the world with his euphoric victory at Augusta this past weekend and now comes into the RBC Heritage looking to keep the good times rolling. The PGA Tour heads to Harbour Town for another marquee event on the golfing calendar.

Masters champ, Jon Rahm, comes into this weekend second to Scottie Scheffler in the odds. I don’t usually like backing players after a tournament win, let alone a major, as there is usually a natural ‘foot off the gas’ round. Weirdly, however, that probably makes backing the Spaniard make even more sense since his fiery mentality doesn’t seem to have an off switch.

Scheffler would make a ton of sense here as a pivot off Rahm. Few golfers will be as suited to this track as Scottie and he’s riding a streak of four consecutive top-10s. His 2.43 strokes gained from tee to green are over 0.7 more than the NEAREST golfer. He’s in form and will be hungry to build on last weekend’s near-Masters defense.
If you were toying with backing a repeat winner, then Jordan Spieth’s heroics on Sunday at Augusta might tempt you even more. He comes into this event at +2200 and his top-5 at the Masters was his third in his last 5 PGA Tour events. Spieth is heating up and heating up quick, ranking T-2 in Around the Green SG. If he keeps this form up, he will absolutely be a factor this weekend.
Tony Finau is also a name worth noting going into the RBC Heritage. He’s gaining a stroke on approach and hitting 71% of greens but is yet to really catch fire in the same way he did last year. He ranks among the very best in approaches between 175-200 yards which is pivotal around Harbour Town, and his scoring stats from within 15ft demand interest
Betting prediction for The RBC Heritage
I think this is a week where we see a surprise winner. Tony Finau is yet to emerge as a victor in 2023 but has been consistently inside the top 30 over the past few months. This course suits his stellar iron play and while bigger names take a breather after The Masters, I’m predicting ‘Top Ten Tone’ to turn it up.
