Jalen Reagor could be in a unique position to showcase his talents within the Eagles offense this season. The Eagles have done a spectacular job in loading up the wide receiver group with the right kind of talent that can help the franchise going forward. The unknown of what they can do with Reagor’s ability could be a huge x-factor. Not so sure? I understand your concern but hear me out. When the team drafted Jalen Reagor with the 19th overall pick and passed up on Justin Jefferson, fans were torn on how to feel about it.

On one hand, you have a big boom potential in Jalen Reagor but on the other hand, you have a for sure thing in Justin Jefferson. I’m a firm believer in the idea that things happen for a reason. The Eagles plan to enhance the WR group has come full circle. They started by drafting Jalen Reagor and then drafted DeVonta Smith the following season. They followed those moves with the acquisition of A.J. Brown during this year’s draft and now they have one of the more lethal WR groups in the NFL.

This is a great thing for both the Eagles and Jalen Reagor. Jalen now has a veteran presence that has had great success in the league to help him reach his potential. We know that Jalen has an incredible work ethic; now it’s just a matter of having it translate to the field on game days.

He’s in a position where the expectations for him have now minimized which has allowed the pressure of producing to grow smaller. Although Jalen Reagor may be placing more pressure on himself than the people around him are, he’s now in a position of strength as opposed to being behind the 8-ball.

Jalen Reagor has the talent and ability to be a huge X-factor in this offense. Jalen can quickly change the pace of the offense with one missed tackle and that’s what Jalen Hurts will need during this season. It’s just a matter of being consistent and continuing to take steps in the right direction.

It’s obvious that Jalen Reagor has the support of his peers and coaches but now more than ever, he needs patience and support from the fans. Reagor wasn’t a TCU standout for no reason. He has a moment to shine in an offense that will be forced to focus on his needs as opposed to the team’s needs as was done in the past.
