Week one of free agency has come and gone. After kicking off on March 17th following a two-day legal tampering period, the landscape of the market has changed substantially for the Eagles.

Many free agents that were deemed glove-like fits in Philadelphia have been poached, while the Eagles have made two moves outside of re-signings: Andrew Adams and Anthony Harris. While the latter provides a huge upgrade at safety, Adams isn’t any slouch. He is seen as a special teams standout and can fill the Rudy Ford role better than Rudy Ford could.

With plenty of names still out there to be signed, let’s take a look at all of the latest whispers and rumors concerning the Eagles.

Adoree’ Jackson meeting with the Eagles

As I type this, Jackson could be a New York Giant. The Giants sent almost every member of their team to dinner with Jackson on Sunday night with hopes to convince him to sign with the Giants. Logan Ryan, a former teammate of Jackson’s, was part of the closing crew.

Jackson had a meeting set up with the Eagles today. I’m admittedly not as big on him as most, but I definitely see him as a major upgrade over what the Eagles currently have outside of Slay. He could see a major jump in development under Jonathan Gannon.

Joe Flacco to backup Jalen Hurts?

It was reported Monday that Joe Flacco will be visiting the Eagles.

Flacco, 36, just completed his 13th year in the league and first with the Jets. He went 0-4, throwing for 564 yards, six TDs, and three INTs. At this point in his career, he’s clearly just a back up option while serving as a mentor to the QB1. While Flacco’s style of play is a complete 180 from Hurts’, Coach Sirianni had a similar situation in Indianapolis with Phillip Rivers and Jacoby Brissett. He’d make for a fine QB2/mentor for Hurts…if he can avoid the whole ‘ being bitter’ thing.

James Conner

While there is no concrete rumor out there linking the Steelers RB and the Eagles, it’s important to know that the Eagles had interest in Conner during the 2017 NFL Draft. Conner ended up being selected six picks after the Eagles selected Rasul Douglas, and the team ended up with Donnell Pumphrey in the 4th round. Conner would provide the “big back” the Eagles have been needing since LeGarrette Blount left and would complement Miles Sanders perfectly.

No Rumors, but Eagles could have interest

Eric Wilson

The veteran spent one year with Jonathan Gannon in Minnesota and the Eagles need linebacker help. Gannon’s system will lean on the linebackers being somewhat competent in coverage, and Wilson fits that description.

Gareon Conley

Eagles had interest in 2017 draft but stayed away due to the sexual assault allegations (which he was cleared from). If Jackson doesn’t sign, Conley could be the consolation prize.

Duke Johnson

People accused me of mistaking Duke Johnson for David Johnson when I suggested the Eagles take a flier on the released Texans’ running back, but I stand by my statement. Johnson would provide solid production behind Miles Sanders and his ability in the passing game could be of interest to Sirianni as he likes running backs who can be threats in that area.

Tanoh Kpassagnon

Born just outside Philadelphia in Wissahickon, Kpassagnon has a similar size (6’7″ 289 lbs) to Margus Hunt (6’8″ 295 lbs). Hunt played for three seasons, two while Gannon was on the staff. His size and raw ability could be extremely attractive to Gannon and see if new defensive line coach Tracy Rocker can tap into his potential.
