As baseball fans and players everywhere are anticipating the MLB and MLBPA to reach an agreement, Jeff Passan dropped a bomb Tuesday night.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but after weeks of battling back and forth, the MLB is now looking like it will have a season.

A number of Phillies’ players and staff reportedly have tested positive for COVID-19 while in Clearwater. This being said, it’s still not said on how, or where, they will report to camp. However, under this new likely proposal, we should have Phillies’ baseball on July 24th.

If I had to guess, the season will not have any fans in attendance to start, if at all. As the Phillies have proven in recent history, they typically perform well to start the season. If history repeats itself, this 60 game season could be beneficial to the red pinstripes.
