IMG_0700

It is never too early to start talking about the NFL Draft, so let’s just dive right in to some players you should watch this Saturday around the country.

Parris Campbell – WR #21 – Ohio State University

Ohio State vs Maryland – 4:00 pm ET – FOX

Class: Junior

Height: 6-1

Weight: 208

Projected Rounds: 2-3

Parris Campbell has racked up 20 catches, 353 yards, and 2 touchdowns in 5 games this season. Campbell is a speedy wide receiver who averages 17.7 yards per reception. Campbell is capable of taking the top off a defense and has proven this with both of his touchdowns being 50+ yards. With the possibility of the Eagles losing Alshon Jeffery, Torrey Smith, and Trey Burton this offseason, Parris Campbell would be a great replacement for Torrey Smith.

Akrum Wadley – RB #25 – Iowa University

Iowa vs Illinois – 12:00 pm ET – Big Ten Network

Class: Senior

Height: 5-11

Weight: 191

Projected Rounds: 2-3

Akrum Wadley is a versatile running back, who can do it all. This season Wadley has racked up 368 rushing yards on 96 attempts, with 3 touchdowns. Along with his rushing stats Wadley has caught the ball out of the backfield 13 times for 244 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wadley was able to average 4.2 yards a carry against Penn State on the ground and have 75 yards receiving. I have been impressed with his play early in the season and with the question marks that come along with the Eagles backfield I wouldn’t mind if they added Wadley to the circus.

Orlando Brown – OT #78 – Oklahoma University

Oklahoma vs Iowa State – 12:00 pm ET – FOX

Class: Redshirt Junior

Height: 6-8

Weight: 345

Projected Rounds: 3-4

Orlando Brown is a massive human being who just so happens to play offensive tackle at Oklahoma. Brown has played in 30 games in his career at Oklahoma and has started every single one of them. In 2015, Brown was named to the Freshman All-American list and was Honorable Mention All-Big 12. In 2016, Brown was named First-team All-Big 12 and was voted Big 12 Lineman of the year. With Jason Peters’ health/future in questions it would not be a bad idea for the Eagles to take a look at Orlando Brown.

Micah Kiser – LB #53 – University of Virginia

Virginia vs Duke – 12:20 pm ET – ACC Network

Class: Senior

Height: 6-2

Weight: 240

Projected Rounds: 4-5

Micah Kiser has already totaled 45 tackles and 5 sacks this season in only 4 games. This season already Micah Kiser was named Walter Camp defensive player of the week and ACC linebacker of the week. Kiser as a longlist of accomplishments during his time at UVA and he will add to that list if his season continues on the way it has started. The Eagles have a thin line-backing core and Kiser would add some great depth and potential to the group.

Marcus Allen – S #2 – Penn State University

Penn State vs Northwestern – 12:00 pm ET – ABC

Class: Senior

Height: 6-2

Weight: 205

Projected Rounds: 4-5

Marcus Allen has piled up 29 total tackles, 1 sack and 1 interception this season and has starting his senior season off on the right foot. Marcus Allen is a high energy, leader on the field with a passion for the game that radiates off of him while he is playing. In 2015, Allen was voted All-Big Ten Honorable Mention and in 2016, Allen was voted Third Team All-Big Ten. With the lack in depth at the Safety the Eagles must address this issue and Marcus Allen could just be the guy.
