The Eagles continue to tie down their backups as DL Brandon Bair signs a one year deal with a $675,000 base salary.
The 30 year old has only played in 16 NFL games, all of which were in 2014’s Eagles campaign. Bair was inactive against the Falcons however but has been with the team since 2013.
For Chip Kelly, the aim to to restrict the number of free agents the Eagles will have at the end of this season and signing as many players to short extensions as possible certainly provides a short term solution to the problem.
