Big names among 15 cut as Eagles trim roster down to 60

The Eagles need to cut their roster down to 53 by tomorrow at 4PM EST. The team had 75 members yesterday and have already begun cutting players. Some big names have already received the boot, here are all of the cuts that we know of so far. None of these cuts have been made official yet, but have come from inside sources and various different Philadelphia Eagles reporters.

G- John Moffitt

S-Ed Reynolds
WR- Rasheed Bailey
RB- Raheem Mostert

CB- Randall Evans
S- Chris Prosinski
OL- Malcolm Bunche
DE- Travis Raciti
OL- Brett Boyko
LB- Deontae Skinner
TE- Andrew Gleichert
G- Julian Vandervelde
WR- Quron Pratt
K- Kip Smith
DE-Brian Mihalik

If these cuts are indeed official then it sits the Eagles at 60, leaving them needing to cut 7 more players before 4PM on Saturday.

Perhaps the biggest surprise comes in the form of running back Kenjon Barner. Barner has been listed for trade, perhaps giving a sign that Mostert is set to make the final roster. His value has sky-rocketed after such an explosive pre-season, it would be silly to let him sit in the Practice Squad for a year when you can strengthen other areas of the team. He is more than good enough for the NFL and should have no trouble finding a home.

Another comes in the way of Bailey who was set to make the team following a great camp and pre-season. We will be updating the list as the news develops so be sure to keep checking back here or on our twitter @PhiladelphiaSN
