Wallace was the 25th overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft, and has since been named in the Eastern Conference All-Star Team.
Importantly for the Sixers, Wallace ended seasons inside the Top 10 for Steals Per Game five times whilst Steal Percentage four times.
He has career averages of 11.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.44 steals through his 14 year career. His decorative career has seen him span seasons with numerous teams as a journeyman and is a relatively cheap acquisition for Philly.
The Sixers have traded Jason Thompson however, the 29 year old power forward averages 9.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in over 500 games and 400 starts.
