DeVonta Smith over 69.5 receiving yards
The Philadelphia Eagles will be without A.J Brown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which is a huge blow. Brown ranked 5th in the NFL in receiving yards this year, and the offense was already sputtering prior to his injury last week.
However, there is some additional upside when backing DeVonta Smith. Not only did Smitty pass the 1,000-yard mark for a second consecutive season, but he’ll now absorb a lot of A.J’s targets, and do so against a pass defense that ranks 29th in the NFL. This is a favorable matchup for Smitty and one where he’s going to receive even more targets than usual.
D’Andre Swift over 59.5 rushing yards
D’Andre Swift’s first season in Philly has been a blistering one. With 1,049 yards to his name, Swift has been a breath of fresh air in the backfield.
He put up 130 yards against the Bucs when they played earlier this year and while we can’t expect the Bucs to allow that kind of damage again, the Eagles have to come into this game with a desire to run the rock.
The Bucs offense has the potential to pick apart a vulnerable Eagles secondary, and keeping the ball away from them will be pivotal.
Swift should sail over this total as a result.
Baker Mayfield over 235 passing yards
Baker Mayfield might not be the most elite of quarterbacks, but he’s able to manage this offense. Prior to a slow game in week 18, Mayfield had flown over this total in 3 consecutive games.
He now faces an Eagles defense that’s rapidly spiraling out of control, and the rushing offense in Tampa Bay is hardly anything to write home about. Baker is going to have to will his team to victory on Monday night, and that should push him way closer to 300 yards than this line suggests.
Jalen Hurts to score an anytime TD
Jalen Hurts has scored 15 rushing touchdowns this season. Many of those can be attributed to the Brotherly Shove, but who really cares? If the Eagles get down near the goal line, this is a highly favorable line bet to have in your parlay.
Given that the Eagles are also without A.J Brown, there is more reason than ever to back Jalen Hurts putting the team on his back and scoring a touchdown.
