Tony Pollard to record 61.5+ rushing yards
The Green Bay pass defense ranks 9th in the NFL, but it’s their 28th ranked run defense that might allow most of the bleeding. This opens the doors to a postseason breakout from Tony Pollard, who ended the season with 1,005 yards after a 70-yard game against the Commanders.
Pollard has received 10+ carries in 10 consecutive games, so should be in good stead to get a heavy workload against a vulnerable Packers run defense. He should comfortably push over this total.
Aaron Jones over 72.5 yards
On the other side of things, Aaron Jones has been on a rampage as of late. He tallied 358 yards over the final 3 weeks and, like Pollard, is bound to be a factor on Sunday.
As much as the Cowboys have a solid run defense, Jones will find ways to make things happen. There’s a chance that the Packers try to keep things simple and take some pressure off of Jordan Love’s shoulders, which means they could be set to ride Jones into the sunset, allowing Love to work from the pocket with confidence on crucial downs.
I like the Packers to double down on Aaron Jones, who has been nothing short of excellent over the last month.
Brandin Cooks over 41.5 yards
While a lot more volatile than CeeDee Lamb from a betting perspective, Brandin Cooks has been more efficient in finding the red zone than any other Cowboys wideout not named CeeDee. With 8 scores on his resume, he outperforms Jake Ferguson, who typically has a higher target-share.
Betting totals can get sketchy if your receiver isn’t getting looks early on. A touchdown prop gives you game-long flexibility to keep you involved until the final play, and Cooks has a touchdown in each of his last 3 games.
Dak Prescott under 281 yards
Dak Prescott has had a brilliant year. A TD/INT ratio of 36/9, a 69.5% completion rate, and 4,516 Yards sum up what has been his most accomplished season yet, but he won’t need to be at his best to beat Green Bay, who, as I mentioned, have a leaky run defense.
The Cowboys will want to control the clock and force Jordan Love to be aggressive in his playoff debut. This means riding the run and a lot of play-calls that keep the ball from harms way.
Dak Prescott will still have a big day, but 281 yards implies an aggressive effort. 250 should be the benchmark here.
