The Philadelphia Eagles still have a chance to win the NFC East this weekend, it’s just now a lot tougher after a shock loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The sky isn’t falling in Philly, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a fan who isn’t at least mildly concerned.
With that in mind, we’ve found 5 bets Eagles fans should make ahead of the final week of regular season play that should restore some faith and excitement ahead of the playoffs.
Philadelphia Eagles to win the NFC East +800
It will take some doing, but it’s not impossible. In order for this bet to cash, The Philadelphia Eagles need to beat the New York Giants, and the Dallas Cowboys need to lose to the Washington Commanders.
These games will be the difference between the #1 seed and #5 seed and also played at the same time, so it’s not like either team will be resting players. However, the Commanders could well be looking for revenge after being hammered 45-10 by the Cowboys at the first time of asking.
If you want to bet on an Eagles win and enjoy a Dallas choke, this could be a very fun way to go about it and get 8/1 odds.
Philadelphia Eagles -5 vs New York Giants -110
The Eagles barely scraped past the Giants when they met two weeks ago and were somehow beaten by the Arizona Cardinals on New Year’s Eve. Surely, they have to bounce back…right?
The G-men have absolutely nothing to play for and a loss would help them more than a win. The Eagles need to get right for the playoffs and will be playing starters for the outside chance that they secure the #1 seed. This could be a blowout.
Philadelphia Eagles to win the Super Bowl +1100
It’s a lofty expectation at this point since the Eagles have grinded to a halt in recent weeks, but miracles can happen. If you still believe in the Eagles once the postseason arrives, getting 11/1 odds on a line that was 3/1 just month or so ago could be spicy.

Anything can happen in the NFL playoffs. The Eagles have caught fire in the postseason before and I wouldn’t put it past them to do it again.
Do you believe? Even if you don’t, taking a low-risk punt at +1100 is a fun way to get in on the action and spice up the playoff run.
Jalen Carter to win Defensive rookie of the year (USE BONUS ONLY) -1000
Jalen Carter is now a runaway favorite to win the Defensive Rookie of the Year award, so it hardly makes sense to back him for a win….or does it?
Most sportsbooks offer sign-up offers as a ‘thank you’ for your custom. This often involved a ‘deposit match’, where a sportsbook will match your initial deposit in bonus bets.
So while betting on a -1000 line is rarely profitable, it could be an idea to use an offer like the one below to turn a $250 stake into a $500 stake. 50 bucks is 50 bucks…and this feels like a near-guarantee (not financial advice).
Washington Commanders +13 vs Dallas Cowboys
If you’re backing the Philadelphia Eagles this week, you might as well back the Washington Commanders to cover against the Cowboys. They might not be good enough to win, but the Commanders could provide bettors with a sneaky back door cover…especially if the Cowboys pull starters in the second half should they find themselves leading comfortably.
I’ve been burned in week 17 too many times to not take this monster number.
