The Eagles are preparing for a big game tonight as they go on the road to take on the Kansas City Chiefs. The last time these two teams met, the referees chose to take the game into their own hands to decide who the winner was. So yeah, fans were robbed of an incredible ending for their 15 minutes of fame.

Now, we’re once again going to see the two best teams in the NFL go at it on Monday Night. Hurts and the Eagles are 8-1 while Mahomes and the Chiefs are 7-2. It’s safe to say that whoever wins this game will either have the best record in the NFL or be tied with the Lions who are 8-2 at the moment.

Here are some bold predictions for tonight’s matchup:

The Andy Reid streak ends

Since being fired from the Eagles, Andy Reid has been undefeated against his former team. Andy Reid is 4-0 against the Birds and that streak ends tonight. Hurts and the Eagles are an extremely motivated team this season. They’ve been dragged through the mud in nearly every game and have only lost one game this season.

That speaks volumes to where this team’s mindset is at this year. They had a taste of the wrong confetti falling in February and are hoping to right the ship this season.

Will the real Kelce-Swift duo please stand up?

While all eyes will be on the new heartthrob couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, they won’t be the ones that stand out on Monday night. I believe that D’Andre Swift will be the difference maker in the Eagles Super Bowl run this season.

While Miles Sanders was great with Philly last season, Swift provides a different wrinkle to this offense. His acceleration and quick feet with positive decision-making will stand out against the Chiefs’ defense tonight. And of course, Jason Kelce will be leading the way. It’s time for Big Brother to show out.

Kevin Byard makes a statement

The Eagle secondary has been questionable this season. From injuries to blown coverages, they have gone through it all but now, after the bye, they should be much healthier. Plus, Kevin Byard was given an extra week to get acclimated with the scheme.

I strongly believe that Byard will be a difference maker, especially against Travis Kelce. The Eagles have struggled mightily against Tight Ends in the past but tonight, Byard shows the world why the Eagles defense will be just fine.

DeVonta Smith is back

Smitty has well over 500 receiving yards this season but he has yet to truly make a statement. Why not tonight?  I think Smith takes center stage in the Eagles passing attack and collects 100 receiving yards with two touchdowns.

The Eagles’ slim reaper will get his groove going early on to help Hurts and the offense stay ahead of the Chiefs. With Dallas Goedert being out for the next couple of games, I strongly believe that this means Smith will rise to the occasion.

Brian Johnson says hello

Everyone has been riding the Eagles new Offensive Coordinator this season but I’m here to tell you that it’s time to relax. The Eagles have a top 10 offense with Brian Johnson still learning the ropes. While they can be better, they will be when the time comes. Which is now.

I’m predicting that we see a Brian Johnson master class tonight on prime time. Johnson and Hurts had time to truly collect themselves during the BYE week and both are more than just motivated to make some noise on the second half. Brian Johnson starts his revenge tour tonight.
