There’s no doubt the Eagles robbers the Tennessee Titans in the trade for A.J Brown, but did anyone expect him to be arguably the league’s most dominant receiver at this point in the season?
With a little over half of the 2023 NFL season still to play, it’s a good time to check in on the end of season awards markets. After a thunderous month and a half of Football, A.J Brown has emerged as one of the favorites to win the 2023 Offensive Player of the Year award.
Where does A.J Brown sit in the OPOY Odds race?
Tyreek Hill | +125 |
Christian McCaffrey | +125 |
A.J Brown | +1000 |
Ja’Marr Chase | +2200 |
Travis Kelce | +3500 |
A.J Brown’s debut season in Philadelphia was an impressive one, but the sequel has been absolutely ridiculous. Against the Commanders, the former Titan recorded 130 yards on two touchdowns. In doing so, he set a new NFL record with his sixth consecutive game with 125+ yards.
We’re 8 games into the 2023 season and he’s currently on pace to record 1,995 yards, 128 catches, and 11 touchdowns.
He’s currently second in the NFL in receiving yards with 939 (75 short of Tyreek Hill) and has 5 touchdowns to his name. This is a truly historic pace and what makes it even more incredible is the fact he’s doing so alongside a receiver who could very much one day be his equal in DeVonta Smith.
Brown is officially the all-time franchise leader in single-season receiving yards (1,496 yards last season, which surpassed Mike Quick’s mark of 1,409) and it looks like he’s going to break his own record this year.
Whether or not he can keep pace with Tyreek Hill is anyone’s guess, but at a 10/1 shot to win the award, it’s hard to doubt a receiver who has just been so physically dominant all year long and has recorded 125+ yards in SIX consecutive weeks.
If you bet $25 on A.J Brown to win OPOY, you’d get $250 back. If you use an offer below, that $25 bet could become a $50 bet thanks to these BONUSES, which means your returns would be worth $500!
