Philadelphia to win ALL 6 divisional games +800

An NFC East sweep? Never say never. The Commanders are a mess, the Giants are very beatable and the Eagles should be able to take care of the Cowboys at home. I see this bet as an 8/1 shot that the Eagles can beat the Cowboys in Jerry World. It’s something that hasn’t been done since 2017. It could be worth a shot.

A.J Brown to record 8+ 100-yard games +110

I’m a big A.J Brown fan and his presence on the offense was instrumental to Philadelphia’s success in 2023. The former Tennessee Titan recorded 1,496 yards last season and was as dominant as he always has been, despite the fact he was sharing targets with another equally dominant wideout in DeVonta Smith.

However, Brown ‘only’ crossed the 100-yard mark 5 times last year. He recorded between 90-100 yards a further 3 times.

The Eagles now have a tougher schedule on deck and while the idea of a 1A/B tandem is an exciting one, it’s hard to really back one receiver to be the consistent playmaker. The whole appeal is that if one gets bracketed or has a tough matchup, it’s open season on the other side of the field.

We’re staying away from this bet for this reason.

A.J Brown OR DeVonta Smith to record 1,750 receiving yards +650

Both of these wideouts are capable of a truly dominant season. They both crossed the 1,000-yard mark last year while balancing the scales with one another. There were weeks where Smitty would have a low receiving total, and others where Brown would be the quiet one. Both ended up having terrific seasons.

Justin Jefferson led the NFL in receiving last year with a stunning 1,809 yards. Tyreek Hill was second with 1,710. At +450 you’re basically betting on Smith or Brown to emerge as one of the NFL’s elite wideouts from a statistical standpoint, which is difficult giving that the Eagles, as aforementioned, have two star wideouts to share targets between.

With that said, it’s definitely not out of the question…

Jalen Hurts 400+ passing yards in 2+ games +150

The ascension of Jalen Hurts in 2022 has been well documented by now. The young quarterback went from an underdog to an MVP candidate in a matter of months, showing supreme growth as a passer.

There’s no questioning that he can take a similar le Hurts to throw 400+ yards in a single game is speculative at best. For context, it’s a feat that Patrick Mahomes only accomplished twice in 2022.

Jalen Hurts is set to sign one of the richest deals in NFL history, agreeing to a five-year, $255 million extension with the Philadelphia Eagles, including $179.3 million guaranteed, a person with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press. The Eagles announced on Monday, April 17, “QB1 is here to stay,” but terms were not yet announced, according to the person who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the deal was not yet final. It’s also worth noting that the Eagles have introduced more elements to their rushing attack this offseason in order to open the offense up even more. If the odds were +900, I’d be all over this. But at what is basically the same odds as the Phillies are to beat the Baves in a single game, there’s no value at all.

Betting on Hurts to win MVP in 2023 oddly feels like it has the higher upside.

Jalen Hurts to record 5,750+ TOTAL yards in 2023 +175

This is an interesting one. Hurts recorded over 3,700 passing yards in 2022 along with over 700 rushing yards. That amount is still over 1,300 yards short of the total needed for this bet to cash.

Similar to the previous bet, there’s just no value here as a bettor looking to cash in on the success of Jalen Hurts.

If the Eagles quarterback is able to put up that number of yards, he’s likely going to be a leading MVP Candidate. As of right now, he’s +1300 to win the coveted award. So you can either bet $5 to win 12 on this market, or $5 to win close to $60 on Hurts to win MVP. The decision is easy.

Jalen Hurts to surpass 300+ passing yards in 8 games +250

This is the first Jalen Hurts prop where there is some moderate value. Hurts eclipsed this mark 4 times in 2022 but with a tougher schedule ahead, he’s far more likely to find himself in shootouts or games where the Eagles suffer an early score. Of all the Hurts props so far, this feels like the most tangible one and the odds are a little more enticing.

Any Eagles player to have 15+ rushing/receiving touchdowns +350

The wildcard here is Jalen Hurts who mustered 13 rushing scores last year. Miles Sanders had 11 of his own, but this revamped backfield has no head of the table as of yet. A.J Brown led the receiving corps with 11 touchdowns.

It’s not out of the question for an Eagles player to cross that 15 TD mark and I feel like it has more chance of landing than Jalen Hurts eclipsing 400 yards 8 times (and the odds are better too).

D’Andre Swift to record 4+ games of 75 rushing yards +400

We don’t yet know how this Eagles backfield is going to look, but if we assume that Swift is roughly RB2 for the majority of the season, we can begin to project what his 2023 season may look like.

Kenny Gainwell only had 240 total yards on the season in what was a backfield commanded by Miles Sanders. However, Swift was playing second fiddle to a star running back in Detroit and still put up 542 yards, surpassing the 75-yard mark twice.

It’s a speculative play, but the Eagles love running the ball and Swift adds an element that previously lacked in this backfield. On top of that, if someone like Rashaad Penny, who has a long injury history, does miss some time, then it could give this bet a real edge.
