The NFC Championship game was played on January 29th. Its been almost two weeks since the Eagles defeated the 49ers 31-7. Unfortunately, it hasn’t stopped 49ers players from talking about their loss to the Eagles and showing how bitter they are that their GM isn’t great at selecting back up quarterbacks. Here’s the latest remark from kicker Robbie Gould:

  1. Jalen Hurts is a quarterback, Robert Paul Gould III.
  2. The Giants made him play quarterback and got smoked
  3. Your historically great defense gave up 31 points

It’s incredibly pathetic that many of the 49ers players have come out and voiced their continued animosity towards a team that beat them at every phase of the game. If not for a poorly tackled CMC run, they could have been shut out.

These comments come a day after Deebo Samuel’s latest comments:

God forbid if a defensive back sees how a route is developing and tries to guess the route. The audacity!

Narrator: They did not attack the Eagles’ DBs all game.

There’s also this gem:

Yes, Deebo. If your team was able to suit up.. hold on let me see who is a free agent quarterback.. ah.. yeah..

  • Sean Mannion
  • Kevin Hogan
  • Kyle Sloter
  • Case Cookus

Real world beaters right there…

First it was Brandon Aiyuk, then it was Aiyuk again, then Aiyuk thought no one heard him, then CMC went on GMFB:

What’s next? Sourdough Sam accusing Swoop of stealing all of his gold? He probably did actually.

Let the Eagles live…

In a league that shows a ton of parity every year in which teams make the playoffs, the 49ers should feel accomplished for getting to where they finished after a season filled with QB injuries. It showed the true definition of a team game.

But please dry your tears with your millions and move on.
