Dallas Goedert: Anytime Touchdown scorer +185

You’d think having two star-level wideouts who both caught over 1,000 yards worth of passes this year would be a detriment to Dallas Goedert, but you’d be mistaken. The SDSU product put up 702 yards this year, the second-highest amount in his career, and scored 3 touchdowns in the process.

Touchdowns have been something that have largely evaded Goedert in 2022 and despite his size, he’s not known for being a consistent touchdown scorer. It is worth noting that he did score one against the Giants in the playoffs and with the tensions of the Super Bowl, there is every chance Hurts looks over the middle in the redzone to a reliable pair of hands.

There isn’t a ton of value to be had on backing Dallas Goedert to score anytime, but it could be worth a punt.

Dallas Goedert Receiving Yards: Over/Under 44.5 -110

This is very interesting. Goedert averaged 58 yards per game in 2022, going over the total of 44.5 on 10 different occasions. The Chiefs have given up 904 yards worth of receiving to opposing tight ends this year, but crucially held both Evan Engram and Hayden Hurst under that 44.5 number this postseason.

The safer pivot might be betting on receptions. Goedert is +140 to have 6+ receptions on Sunday, and he’s had at least 5 in each of his last 3 games. There’s far more value here and on the receiving yards than on the anytime TD line.

Dallas Goedert: First touchdown scorer +1600

The first touchdown scorer prop is basically a roulette wheel. There’s no real way of putting some substantial analysis into this kind of prop, which usually makes it more fun as there’s just as much chance Hurts catches Goedert over the middle on a slant that goes to the house, as he does throw a back-shoulder fade to A.J Brown in the redzone.

I like fluttering some cash on any player over +1000 and Goedert fits that bill.
