France vs Morocco betting preview

France dispersed of England in their Quarter Final matchup with the help of some controversies surrounding the referee. But make no mistake, they were the better team on the night. It’s easy to forget that this team is missing 3-4 key players due to injury. They look as dangerous as they ever have and getting past England is only going to boost their confidence.

As for Morocco, this incredible World Cup campaign will go down in history. They’re officially the first-ever African nation to make it this far in the World Cup. The Atlas Lions shocked Portugal to secure their place in the Semi-Final and having already beaten Spain and Belgium, they won’t fear France no matter how daunting the task may seem.

The question now is whether or not Morocco have one more remarkable fairytale in the tank. They’ve toppled the footballing elite, but now they face a French side that has won all 10 World Cup games that wonderkid Kylian Mbappe has started.

Morocco have been brilliant up to this point and the moment has never looked too big for them. But you have to wonder when nerves will begin to set in and if some lapses of concentration may sneak in, and France are a team who will punish any minute mistake.

France vs Morocco betting pick

As much as I can’t see Morocco winning this game, I couldn’t see them winning any of their 3 previous. There is still value to be had here at 6/1 and while I won’t be lumping this anytime soon, I do think betting on the Atlas Lions is worth a punt here.
