I don’t know how every Thursday Night matchup seems to be a catastrophe waiting to happen, but here we are. Chicago has a putrid passing offense and although Carson Wentz is a top-5 quarterback in terms of passing yards, his all-or-nothing play is still haunting him and his team has seen a rollercoaster of emotions every week as a result.
Washington also hasn’t exactly had prolific success this year, but are yet to play any real dominant quarterbacks. Interestingly, Jalen Hurts ran rampant a couple of weeks ago, and Justin Fields arguably rushes just as much, if not more than Hurts due to the shoddy blocking in front of him.
The Chicago defense appears to at least be somewhat stable. They’re yet to allow 30+ points this season and are 2-0 at home this year. Home field advantage is definitely worth noting here.
Bears vs Commanders betting pick
Realistically, we can expect Carson Wentz to gun sling his way to celebration or sorrow, and Justin Fields to run all over the field. I think the points total of 38 is just too low here. I’ll be backing the over and parlaying it with a Bears win.
