Week 5 of the NFL season is here, and the Philadelphia Eagles have gone West to face former Eagle Zach Ertz and the Arizona Cardinals.
Must-play props for Eagles vs. Cardinals
The Eagles are an impressive 4-0 so far this season. They’ve put forward an impressive outing every week so far, seemingly finding a new way to win each time they take the field.
Week 5 is potentially their toughest test yet as they face dual-threat quarterback Kyler Murray and a talented Cardinals squad.
How could the game get any more exciting? By joining the action with some must-play props! Here are three Philly props to pick for Sunday’s game:
Dallas Goedert | Over Total Receiving Yards
We’re five weeks into the regular season, and while Dallas Goedert has had his fair share of highlights, we’ve yet to see a true “Goedert game” this year. Against the Arizona Cardinals, however, that could certainly change.
The Cardinals give up the second most receiving yards per game to tight ends (85.2). While they’ve certainly played some challenging tight ends — including Travis Kelce and Darren Waller — Dallas Goedert is something of a top-five tight end himself.
Take the over for Sunday’s game.
Jalen Hurts | Over Total Passing Yards
Jalen Hurts is in the midst of an MVP-caliber season. He’s averaged 280 passing yards per game through the first four weeks, and there appears to still be a level he’s yet to tap into. Against the Cardinals, it’s all about the matchups.
While Arizona boasts a solid secondary, they struggle against larger, more physical receivers. This is exactly why Dallas Goedert and even A.J. Brown figure to play a large role in today’s game.
Expect Hurts to find Dallas Goedert and A.J. Brown early and often and take the over on passing yards.
That’s right; it’s the Dallas Goedert show in Week 5. Not only do the Cardinals give up over 85 yards per game to tight ends, but they give up nearly a touchdown a game to TEs as well (0.8).
This matchup is just too favorable for Dallas Goedert not to take advantage. If there were ever a time for Goedert to assert his dominance, it’s today.
Look for a Dallas Goedert anytime touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.
