Must-play props for Eagles vs. Commanders

As exciting as the first two games of the Eagles’ season were, Week 3 is certainly their most exciting yet since it will mark the first matchup between Philadelphia and their former franchise quarterback.

How could the game get any more exciting? By joining the action with some must-play props! Here are three Philly props to pick for Sunday’s game:

Miles Sanders | Over Total Rushing Yards

Miles Sanders has had a wonderful bounce-back season so far. After rushing for 96 yards in Week 1 against the Detroit Lions and 80 last week against the Minnesota Vikings, Sanders is playing at a high level and Washington’s poor run defense is unlikely to do anything to stop him.

The Commanders are a bottom five team in rushing yards allowed and while the season is still young, it’s clear they do not possess the personnel to defend the run at a high level.

Take the over for Sunday’s game.

Jalen Hurts | Over Total Passing Yards

Jalen Hurts has exceeded expectations as a passer in both Weeks 1 and 2 and there’s a great chance he does so once again this Sunday against the Commanders. Week 2 saw Hurts throw for 333 yards against a Minnesota Vikings defense that, while not overly impressive, is a stronger unit than Washington’s.

Until Hurts disappoints, continue to take the over on passing yards.

Dallas Goedert | Anytime Touchdown

At some point, Jalen Hurts will get the ball into the endzone via the air (other than on an absolute bomb to Quez Watkins). When that does happen, look for breakout tight end Dallas Goedert as the likely recipient.

Goedert has done well earning his new $57 million deal by gaining the third most yards among tight ends and the most per reception (min 70 yards). The yards are there, now it’s time the scoring comes with it.

Look for a Dallas Goedert anytime touchdown against the Washington Commanders in Week 3.
