Penn State (2-0) #22 @ Auburn (2-0)
The SEC has proven to be the superior conference in the NCAA in years past. Penn State may be ranked but heading down to Auburn in Alabama is a tall task. The Nittany Lions are favored in this game by -3.5, which is a great opportunity to take the Tigers and the points. We are still early in the college football season and trying to learn what teams are made of at this stage. I like the over in this game at 47.5 points, and I think this game will be a shootout down the stretch.
Taking the hometeam Auburn Tigers at +3.5 and the over at 47.5 is my play in this one, and the parlay odds sit at +235. A $5.00 bet wins $16.75.

The next bet I am taking on Saturday courtesy of Pointsbet will be a three-leg pick ’em parlay. There are a lot of good betting lines available, and following my selections can help you bring home the bread this Saturday. I am looking at the three games Oklahoma @ Nebraska, Cal @ Notre Dame, and Colorado @ Minnesota.
Oklahoma at -11? Sign me up. The Sooners will mop the floor with a Nebraska team that finally moved on from head Coach Scott Frost. Oklahoma should easily win this game, and taking them to do so by two touchdowns is a no-brainer. This game is a lock in my opinion.
The next game we are betting on is California at Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish have struggled in the post Brian Kelly era, and new Head Coach Marcus Freeman is facing a lot of heat following the team’s 0-2 start. Taking on the Bears at home should be the first win of the season for Freeman, and being favored at home by -12 is a good number to take action on. Adding Norte Dame with Oklahoma is a great start to the parlay and the weekend.
The final game we are looking to win money on here is Colorado at Minnesota. By no means will Colorado beat the Golden Gophers at home, but the Buffs will not be as bad at the 28 points they are being given. Last season these two teams met up in Denver and Minnesota took care of business 30-0. I don’t expect Minnesota to shut out Colorado even if they are at home. Their offense will be hard to contain with their top-of-the-line run game, but CU will have something to prove after last year’s embarrassment at home. I am taking Colorado and the points to complete the three-game parlay.
In total, taking Oklahoma -11, Notre Dame -12, and Colorado +28 will result in a parlay with +567 odds. A $5.00 bet wins $33.36, and your Saturday afternoon ends with some more cash in your pocket.
