What a statement coming off the dismissal of Joe Girardi. Ten runs and five homers.

Talk about turning a shrimp cocktail into a seafood tower.

Now, interim manager Rob Thomson will see his second game since taking over. The Phillies are begging you to spend your money, not unlike the expensive seafood tower my friends refused me last night.

P.S. I just read that to my roommate (girlfriend, tight), and she told me it sounded like Sex and the City.

And just like that, my masculinity has gone the way of the Dodo. Whatever, go, Phils.

Pitching matchup – Saturday, 6/4 – 7:15p @ Citizen’s Bank Park

Michael Lorenzen (5-2, 3.19 ERA) v. Zack Wheeler (3-3, 3.16 ERA)

Our buddy Wheels just won NL Pitcher of the Month. Let’s see if he can capitalize.

Wheeler will be meeting much the this Angels lineup for the first time tonight. Only Kurt Suzuki and Mike Trout have faced the former Met. Neither with much success.

For Lorenzen, keep an eye on Kyle Schwarber. In 20 at-bats, he’s hit .350 with a pair of home runs.

Series Spotlight – Nick Castellanos

Just about everyone mashed last night other than Castellanos. He’s got another righty to duel with tonight, so things don’t get easier.

I think last night probably upset Castellanos in some way. He rights the ship tonight with a double and a long ball.

Daily Fantasy Pick of the Day

How about another cheapie today – Bryson Stott. I think we’re going to continue to see the young boys get some more time with the change in management.

Coming off the first home run of his Major League career, he’s just $2,100 on FanDuel.
