It’s official. The former Tennessee Titan will be bringing his #11 jersey number to Philadelphia with him.

The Eagles gave up the 18th overall pick and the 101st pick for the All-Pro wide receiver. Brown was entering the final year of his contract so a lot was riding on the front office to secure a contract extension. When that fell through, Howie swooped in and handed A.J Brown a 4-year extension worth $100M, $57M Guaranteed.

Brown will take #11 from Zach Pascal, who recorded an astonishing 0 rec, 0 yards, and 0 td while wearing the number, grading out as PFF’s 0 ranked receiver with a grade of 0.

Pascal will now be wearing the number 3, having given up #11 for Brown in a gesture of goodwill. What a wholesome lad. Pascal wore #14 in Indianapolis, while his quarterback, Carson Wentz wore #11.

Brown becomes the first Eagles wideout since Josh Huff to wear the number, and first player since Carson Wentz. To say that number has lost its sparkle over the past 10 years would be fair, but Brown is the perfect player to relight that fire.
