Whether you agree or not, Breece Hall has quickly become the number one consensus back in the NFL Draft this year. After a strong combine performance this past weekend, conversations have now been had about Hall potentially going in Round One.

It should be of no surprise that the Eagles have taken a flier and spoke with the Iowa St. prospect this weekend either.

We’ve mentioned before how it is common for teams to meet with players at every position, and Hall is no different. Breece Hall is a great player with a solid combination of size, speed, athleticism and vision. The interesting part about this is the fact that with Miles Sanders’ contract coming up, questions surrounding his tenure in Philly have come up. While it wouldn’t be the most popular thing in the world to let a young RB like Sanders walk after drafting him four years ago, getting a complementary back like Hall would certainly help Philadelphia if they decide to go down that route.

Breece Hall projects as a Day Two draft pick with some scouts even mocking him up in the first round. Whether fully interested in the college stud or not, it’s very likely Hall’s statement of him being “the best RB in this class” is an assessment the Eagles agree with.
