The NFL has officially revealed compensatory picks ahead of this year’s NFL Draft and there’s good news for Eagles fans. The team now have ten selections heading into the event after being granted a pair of sixth-round compensatory picks.

The Eagles were handed compensatory selections for the losses of Jordan Howard and Ronald Darby. They did not receive a compensatory pick for the loss of Kamu Grugier-Hill. The fact that Howard ended up back on the team anyway is amusing.

In terms of draft capital here’s what Howie Roseman will be working with down in Cleveland.

Round one: Pick #6
Round two: Pick #37
Round three: Picks #70 & #85
Round five: Picks #134 & #140
Round six: Pick #165, #224, #225
Round seven: Pick #198

Previously only projected to receive one compensatory pick, that extra sixth-rounder does matter. Whether or not it will be used or traded is anyone’s guess, but having extra ammunition is never a bad thing.
