2020 has been a messy year from start to finish, but the good news is that today is the last day of its entire existence. We just wanted to thank you, for everything, before we say goodbye to a year that changed everything.

The pandemic has changed the way we live, impacted our families, our livelihoods, and so much more. This year just continued to throw gut punches in every aspect of life to so many people.

For us, being an independent outlet in a time of such financial uncertainty, and being one without any kind of government support, has been terrifying for the most part. But we’re thrilled to say we’re ending the year in a stronger position than the way we started it…which is a sentence I would’ve given anything to say six months ago.

We truly wouldn’t be here without your support. Every article read, podcast listened to, tweet shared, and memory made has been because of you and the love you continue to give us. This year has tested us in so many different ways, some of which I hope we never have to endure again. But knowing through thick and thin, rain or shine, you had our backs and continued to support what we did, meant absolutely everything.

Not every outlet can say they have a community like this one. Whether it’s in live streams, group chats, comment sections or twitter mentions, you make your voices heard in the most respectful ways, and engage in everything we do. It really is one big family and we’re so thankful to have you in our corner. In a year like this where so much was ripped away, all it really does is highlight just how lucky we are.

Of course, the other big thank you here needs to go to our incredible team of writers who rose to every occasion and never accepted anything less than their best. Ensuring to lift everyone up around them and prove that PSN is more than just a blog, this year really just showed us how tight this family is and how much we can overcome if we all work together. I cannot put into words how proud I am of every single member of PSN who helped not only keep us kicking against endless tidal waves of uncertainty, but ensured we are in a really strong position to deliver the best content we ever have going into 2021.

Thank you for everything. I hope you all have the happiest of New Years’ and that 2021 is filled with opportunity, happiness, and maybe even a slight dose of a Philadelphia sports team that doesn’t make us want to headbutt a brick wall. Seriously, thank you for making PSN what it is. As we go into year 7 of our existence (!!), we can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds.
