Reliving the Union’s historic Decision Day that lead to their first trophy

The Union did it! They won their first piece of silverware! Philadelphia won the 2020 Supporters Shield the trophy given to the best team throughout the MLS regular season.

In European soccer leagues, this would be considered a championship; in MLS, this is one of the three major trophies up for grabs every season. Some would consider the shield the hardest trophy to win as you have to be the best team throughout an entire season. The Union are the best team in MLS, and as they gear up for an MLS Cup Playoff run that starts at the end of this month, it’s only right to relive the historic 2020 MLS Decision Day!
