Fight recap: Teofimo Lopez takes down Vasiliy Lomachenko

Las Vegas: The eyes of the Boxing world would head to the Bubble of the MGM Grand for one of the marquee fights of 2020 as Vasiliy Lomachenko would take on Teofimo Lopez for All the Lightweight Titles. Lopez entered this battle undefeated at 15-0 with 12 KOs while Lomachenko would come into the fight at 14-1 with 10KOs.

A fight of this proportion would normally be held in front of a crowd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena but due to COVID-19, this fight would take place in the Bubble of MGM Grand Conference Center.

Things would get heated at the Weigh-in on Friday

In the Early Rounds, Teofimo Lopez shocked a lot of people with his hand speed and it showed early and often. At times, Vasiliy Lomachenko just did not have a response for Lopez.

Vasiliy Lomachenko would finally get the offense going in round 8 to make things more interesting.

This fight reached the 12th & Final round and both guys would leave it in the ring and it would go the distance.
