The Phillies have missed the postseason for the ninth year in row.
Despite boasting one of the highest payrolls in all of baseball, the Philadelphia Phillies have once again failed to reach the postseason. Even with a whopping eight NL teams qualifying during this year’s wonky COVID setup, the Phils found themselves falling short by a singular win.
It was a really painful 60 games to experience, and David Esser and Kevin Dickson aired their grievances on the season in the latest episode of the Bullpen Blues podcast.
