Villanova Saddiq Bey Files for Early Entry to 2020 NBA Draft

We are at the point where College players will make their decision to go through the process to enter the NBA Draft or return to school. We have an idea of what direction that Villanova Saddiq Bey is going to choose.

On Tuesday, Saddiq Bey became one of 205 players to declare for the NBA Draft early.

This means that they can go through the NBA Draft process but if they sign with an agent, their eligibility is over.

Players who have declared early can also withdraw their names up to 10-days prior to the event.

Saddiq Bey was named Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the year. He averaged 16.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game, to go with a 47.7 percent shooting percentage from the floor and 45.1% from beyond the arc. 

On April 14, Villanova Coach Jay Wright said about Saddiq Bey going through the draft process

On April 7, Saddiq Bey would win the Julius Erving Award given to the nation’s best small forward in college hoops.

During the 2019-20 season., Bey Averaged 16.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in 31 regular-season games.

On January 11, Saddiq Bey scored 33 points in the win over Georgetown at the Wells Fargo Center
