Dan Graziano of ESPN has predicted that the Eagles are likely to trade up in the 2019 NFL Draft.  That hasn’t happened since the 2016 draft, when the Eagles traded five picks to the Cleveland Browns for the number two selection to draft some guy named Carson Wentz.

The Eagles are currently looking at pick number 25 in the 2019 draft and have plenty of ammunition to trade up if they felt as though they needed to grab an impact player that otherwise wouldn’t be available at pick 25.

But there are a few players that can be had for the Eagles if they wanted to trade up in the draft, it’s just who they need to trade with to ensure they get their guy.

Except for Oliver, who will be long gone at 25, the Eagles need to stay at 25 or like Giovanni says, trade down. You mention a few times in the article “what team doesn’t love picking up extra draft picks”….I assume you included the Eagles in that equation. If they can drop back into the late 20’s to early 30’s and pick up another pick…like a 3rd to replace the pick they lost acquiring Golden Tate, that is the move.

  • Trade down and take the 3rd.
