According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Eagles picked up an option in Doug Pederson’s contract that will keep him with the team through 2020.

Pederson signed a four-year deal with the team prior to the 2016 season and it’s safe to say that Jeffery Lurie and Howie Roseman won’t want to lose his services anytime soon. After Lurie sought out ’emotional intelligence’ following the Chip Kelly trainwreck, Doug Pederson provided a complete culture shift and led the Eagles through every bump, jump and hurdle that adversity threw in their way en-route to a Super Bowl win.
