The Eagles have released their final injury report of the week prior to their week 8 matchup against the Niners.

The report has read the same since Wednesday’s walkthrough. Jordan Hicks is the only player listed as out and cornerback Ronald Darby is the only player listed as questionable.

Status Report

Out

Friday

LB Jordan Hicks (achilles)

Questionable

Friday

CB Ronald Darby (ankle)

Full participation in practice:

Friday

DT Beau Allen (foot), DE Brandon Graham (shoulder), WR Alshon Jeffery (groin), DT Timmy Jernigan (ankle), LB Mychal Kendricks (hamstring), RB Wendell Smallwood (knee), DT Destiny Vaeao (wrist)

It’s worth noting that while Jason Peters has been placed on IR, there has been no such move for the former Texas linebacker as things stand. The Eagles did sign former Villanova LB Don Cherry to their practice squad after calling up Nate Gerry to the 53-man roster, but Hicks is technically still taking up a spot on the roster. A positive sign perhaps, or one of patience?

The status of Ronald Darby has been the same since Wednesday. The Eagles are preaching patience and taking things to slow to ensure he returns to full health.

Elsewhere, the DT injury bug has seemingly disappeared and Mychal Kendricks has been a full participant in practice all week, along with Wendell Smallwood.

Aside from he headline injuries, the Eagles are looking like one of the healthier teams in the NFL heading into week 8.
