The latest in a flurry of roster moves, the Eagles have signed TE Anthony Denham to the practice squad, according to an official announcement from the team.

The Eagles promoted Byron Marshall to the active roster today, opening up a hole on the practice squad. Denham fills that void after being waived by the Eagles prior to a showdown with the Bengals. Formerly of the Texans, Denham was unable to earn himself a spot on their final 53-man roster but had an encouraging offseason. The 6’4 ,Utah alumni went undrafted in 2014 but landed in Houston and stayed their until the start of this season when he was cut.

The Eagles now have two tight ends on their roster, with Marcel Jensen being the second on the ten man team. With Brent Celek injured and the Eagles needing receiving production from both Trey Burton and Zach Ertz, adding some blocking reinforcements is certainly a wise decision.
