The Eagles made a minor roster move today, brining back Offensive lineman Darrell Greene to the practice squad and releasing JaCorey Shepherd to make room.
Roster Move: #Eagles re-sign G Darrell Greene to the practice squad and release CB JaCorey Shepherd from the practice squad.

A sixth round pick last year, JaCorey Shepherd didn’t make his preseason debut until this year, having battled injury problems since his arrival in the NFL. However, with eleven defensive backs on the roster, this harmed his chances of making the final 53-man roster and eventually resulted in Shepherd being amidst the roster cuts.
Shepherd was then brought back to the practice squad, strangely in favor of Darrell Greene..who he’s being released so the team can resign now.
Darrell Greene started 25 straight games for San Diego State en route to being part of an Offensive Line that helped the team dominate the running game with two 1000-yard rushers. Some character issues hampered his hopes of being drafted..but the Eagles were quick to take a chance…and then let him go..and then bring him back again.
