Carson Wentz has been named NFL Rookie of the Week

In an unsurprising yet deeply gratifying move, the NFL have officially named Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz as their Pepsi Rookie of the Week.

After a scintillating debut where Wentz completed 22/37 passes, for278 yards and two touchdowns, Wentz had one more victory up his sleeve, beating the likes of Sterling Shepard and Tajae Sharpe to winning the prestigious award.
