The NFL’s Mic’d up series is always interesting to watch. Doug Pederson got the Mic’d up treatment in his first game as Head Coach of the Philadelphia Eagles in an episode that showcases just how supportive his coaching style really is.

From motivating rookie quarterback Carson Wentz to congratulating every Offensive player after a successful drive and even pumping up his Defense, Pederson was not afraid to get vocal on the sidelines.

Pederson seemed calm and collected before kickoff and seemed to remain just as relaxed through some of the tougher moments during the game.

One of the more interesting aspects of the episode however, is the excerpt after the game where rookie quarterback Carson Wentz shook hands with Cleveland Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III.

After Carson shook the hand of the former Redskins QB, Griffin said this to Wentz:

“You a fan man? I’m a big fan of you too. Go out there, ball out and win the NFC East, alright?”

Well, I don’t know about you but after  what must have been such a frustrating loss to take, for RGIII to be so humble and wish the same level of success he enjoyed during his rookie year was brilliant to see. Sportsmanship is an integral part of Football..and there is clearly a lot of respect between these two second overall picks.
