The Eagles have made a corresponding roster move in order to sign undrafted rookie Bryce Treggs…but it’s a move that’s not going to sit well with many.

The information was first tweeted by Dave Zangaro:

Turner had done everything asked of him during preseason. A 70-yard punt return, leading his team in receiving for three out of their four wins and catching almost everything thrown his way. The undrafted Louisiana Tech preseason star stood out in what was an inconsistent WR corps and earned himself a spot on the final 53-man roster…that was until the Eagles signed fellow UDFA, Bryce Treggs.

The Eagles are hoping that Turner clears Waivers so that they can sign him to their ten-man practice squad, but there is no guarantee that will happen.

In other roster related news, Marcus Johnson is reported to be among the first players signed to the ten-man practice squad, while the Rams have signed Blake Countess to theirs.

A sixth round pick by the Eagles this year, Countess failed to standout in preseason but the Eagles wanted to keep him on the practice squad. Unfortunately, he’s now with the Rams..which could be why they signed former Ravens Safety Terrence Brooks..although, they will have to waive a player to make room on their 53-man roster.
