Following the news that the Eagles had traded up to the second overall pick, it was predicted that Sam Bradford would be less than excited. But after reports of a trade request were downplayed earlier today by anonymous sources, the story has taken an unexpected turn.
Eagles have been informed Sam Bradford wants to be traded and he will not be showing up for their off-season program any longer, per source.

It’s unclear how much of Schefter’s information is true at this point. Earlier today, Yahoo Sports posted an article claiming
“While Philadelphia could still deal Bradford during the draft or ensuing offseason, the sources said Bradford is prepared to prove to the Eagles that he’s a franchise quarterback. He’ll embrace the challenge if he remains in Philadelphia, sources said, despite being upset that the team surrendered draft assets that could have helped him.”
The reports do contradict but at this stage, it’s difficult to downplay anything considering how likely the scenario’s both are. Bradford has always been composed on and off the field and it seems out of character to kick up a huge fuss over something like this..his agent may have differing views however.
If Sam Bradford is indeed traded, the Eagles would be left with a very difficult choice. A season with Chase Daniel, or dropping their future franchise Quarterback in at the deep end.
