According to Adam Schefter, the Eagles have agreed to a one-year deal with former New York Giants receiver Reuben Randle.

During his time with the G-Men, Randle caught 188 passes for 2,344 yards and 20 touchdowns. The 24 year old had 57 catches for 797 yards and 8 Touchdowns in 2015.

The deal is said to be worth more than $3M with $500K guaranteed but this definitely helps the Eagles receiver situation. They no longer NEED to draft a wideout. A week after signing Chris Givens, the birds have targeted a receiver they know all too well and one who can add a lot to the core of young guys. The LSU star has four years of NFL experience and has shown plenty of versatility in his time with the Giants.

Randle is a big name receiver who can definitely do damage in the right system. At 25 he still has plenty of potential and after a career best 8 single season TD’s despite the emergence of Odell Beckham Jr, he could easily soar in Philadelphia.
