Doug Pederson unlikely to bring KC staff to Eagles, has eyes on Spagnuolo, per reports

Last night we did some research to shed some light on what’s going on behind the scenes in Philadelphia and today, our findings have only gained more substance. (you can read our report here) According to Randy Covitz of the KC star, Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid doesn’t expect Pederson to bring any staff or assistants with him to Philadelphia.

Now this means one of two things. One that the Chiefs are likely to find their replacement from within the organization, (something that Covitz also coincidentally asked Reid about)

and that the Eagles don’t have any need for them. Why? Because the wheels are already in motion when it comes to building a strong support cast to aid Pederson in his first year as an NFL Head Coach.

Les Bowen earlier tweeted that Pederson’s top choice for a Defensive Coordinator is  Steve Spagnuolo and whilst this may or may not be true, with the rumours of Jim Schwartz continuing to intensify, it’s clear the Eagles are already well into the process of finding and hiring staff that will compliment Pederson..as we alluded to last night. Again, you can read that report here.
