Three Eagles players questionable for Boxing Day showdown: Injury report

It might be Christmas day but it’s all business in Philadelphia. The birds are set to play the Redskins on Boxing day and they’re likely to do so short handed as their final injury report of the week suggests.

As predicted, starting cornerback Byron Maxwell has been listed as questionable after failing to practice all week. An SC Joint Sprain suffered against the Cardinals has kept the Corner sidelined this week which will likely see Biggers, Watkins and potentially undrafted rookie Denzel Rice filling the void.

Nose Tackle Bennie Logan is also out this week after reports surfaced that Logan could miss both of the Eagles final games of 2015. The Eagles Run Defense has suffered hugely in recent weeks and the lingering injury of Logan could well have played a part in that.

Finally, wide receiver and special teams key player Seyi Ajirotutu has missed practice all week which will likely result in Jonathan Krause taking some more snaps in midnight green after a reasonably impressive Offensive debut.

The bright point here is that Eric Rowe has been completely cleared to play and left off of the injury report completely! A silver lining for the Eagles heading into Boxing Day.
