Howie Roseman has been relentless when it comes to cleansing the Eagles of “Chip Kelly guys” and unfortunately for Brandon Bair, he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

The Eagles have officially released the Defensive Lineman and in turn saved $725k in cap space. Add that to the $4.5M saved from the Mark Sanchez and the Eagles have freed up over $5M in the last hour alone.

Bair spent 2013 on the Eagles practice squad and despite signing a new contract last September, picked up an injury in week 3 which saw him remain inactive for the rest of the season.

A solid two-gap Defensive End is always good to have..if you run a 3-4. In Jim Schwartz’s new 4-3 Defense, there isn’t really much room for the former Oregon Duck.

The question is, will he also follow Chip to San Francisco?
