In a predictable outcome following the hiring of Ben McAdoo, the Giants have reportedly denied the Eagles an opportunity to talk to their Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo after the birds phoned and asked for permission.

If this is true which is likely, this would be the third time this off-season that the G-Men have prevented the Eagles from hiring someone or got in the way of a hiring but whilst Spagnuolo may sound like an attractive hiring, he really might not be.

In both of his last two seasons as a DC, his Defense has finished 32nd in the NFL…both of those defense are in the top 3 worst in NFL history for yards allowed in a single season, the Eagles already have problems..perhaps not jumping out of the pan and into the fire would be a good move.
